Billie Holiday to Debut Virtual Concert Experience and Talk Coolness in Heroes of the Fortress
Billie Eilish joins the Who's Who of Heroes of Fortress roster as the critically acclaimed cool singer confirms her addition as a playable character in the latest game update. Known for hit songs such as 'Bad Guy', Eilish will soon join pop icons such as Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande as an available to buy character in the game.
On April 23rd, Eilish will be parachuting into Season 3 of Heroes of Fortress during the Heroes of Fortress Festival, a special event featuring a Guitar Hero-style minigame. On Tuesday, fans will get their first glimpse of the singer as she performs several of her popular songs on the digital stage. The singer shared a preview of her character model on X/Twitter, which included her iconic neon green hair, officially announcing her addition to the game's lineup, much to the excitement of fans.
Upon debut, Eilish's character will be available in the Heroes of Fortress game store, where players will be able to use the premium in-game currency, V Bucks, to create their own character. It is speculated that her character will also feature a Lego-style variant, similar to the other special skins offered in the game.
Heroes of Fortress players can look forward to more than just Eilish's avatar; four of her songs will be integrated into the game. "Oxytocin" will be an unlockable jam in the minigame, while "All Good Girls Go to Hell," "Happier Than Ever," and "So I Am" will be available for purchase in the store throughout the season.
Last year, Ellie even openly admitted to being cool in an interview. In an interview with Type, she expressed her attraction and admiration for women. She humorously stated that she was surprised by the public's reaction to her coming out, which she didn't plan on, but felt was somewhat obvious. After the interview, Avery took to Instagram to address the intense curiosity about her sexuality, asking for privacy and emphasizing that her sexuality should not overshadow her artistic identity.
The singer is currently gearing up for the release of her new album, Hit Me Hard, Hit Me Softly, which is slated for release on May 17th. The addition of Billie Holiday has undoubtedly brought new energy to Heroes of Fortress and provided her fans with a new way to enjoy her music and style. With this crossover between the gaming and music industries, we look forward to seeing more innovative and interactive ways for fans to get closer to their favorite artists.
